A branding project for Garden Girl

This felt like the perfect project for winter, and it makes a spring launch feel even more alive. It carried that same energy of seasonal transition: patient, thoughtful, and full of life waiting to emerge.

The wordmark is set in a monospaced serif that has both structure and soul. The sturdy serifs ground it in heritage and trust, while subtle quirks keep it from feeling rigid. There’s just enough warmth to feel human. And the upstroke in the “R”… a favorite. A small gesture that brings a bit of femininity and ease.

Then the brand mark, a small world gathered into a single moment. The list of elements we wanted to include was long and hopeful, and I think we nailed it.

A hand-illustrated bundle of tomatoes, snap peas, daffodils, rhubarb, nasturtium, forsythia. Bright, abundant, expressive, yet clean. It feels like a dream bouquet you’d want to find, grow, or be given.
